Hi all - It's been just under 4 weeks since I last logged in here at DBSTalk (12/16/09!) so I want to apologize for my absence. I thought I'd be able to contribute much more than I have, but these last few weeks have not gone the way I'd hoped...

My Christmas vacation started 12/21, but the prior week I was slammed at work trying to get ready for vacation. I was supposed to start it Friday 12/18 at 11 AM but worked much longer than I was supposed to, still picking up work issues on Saturday. I did a lot of shopping and had a great Christmas, but then got sick with the flu on 12/27 - not H1N1, but a serious case nonetheless - and was laid up in bed for 6 days. I finally went back to work last Tuesday and worked 46 hours in 4 days, so I spent Saturday catching up at home and today finally "relaxed" for a few hears watching Avatar in 3D.

I'm finally back online and realize I have a lot of catching up to do. I know I've missed a lot - I haven't really used my H24/HR24 these past few weeks, but I did set up the DECA (there was no filter) and network them, but hopefully there will still be time to contribute to the effort. Again, apologies for not being here the last few weeks - if I had to do it over again, I would gladly pick DBSTalk over the flu!

Welcome back! I wondered what had happened to you. Hope things slow down for you soon and let you get back to the important things like TV and testing. :D

Thanks everyone - appreciate the welcome back! Did you all know DBSTalk was really popular, and that you testers and the CE users and forum members have a lot to say? So many posts, so little time! :p

Yeah, nothing like laying in pools of sweat for hours and then having the drunk friends you were supposed to be spending New Year's Eve with in Pennsylvania call you at midnight to tell you that in your honor they put a little extra into the YMCA dance, just for you ... :nono:  :p

Glad to see you back. Stuff happens and when you're set back by the flu, catching up can be a pain.

Anyway, still lots of testing to do here.
