At a certain point should we let DirecTV know that queued movies still haven't dl'd??

Should we be reporting movies that have been queued for a while, but not downloaded yet??? I have some stuff queued for over a week now.

I know that it was said early on that we should expect this to a certain extent, but I just want to make sure that the extent of the delay is known by DirecTV.

If so, when is the cutoff? What I mean is:

If you have a movie queued for x days and it doesn't download, please report it.

    Define x.

They did say it may take several weeks, so I think it's still just a waiting game.

I finally had one download. :D

    Milkman, I think DirecTV knows...

    So Far I have received...

    1. Avatar
    2. The Road
    3. The Wolfman
    4. The Tooth Fairy
    Unwatched but available
    1. From Paris With Love
    2. Dear John
    3. Shutter Island

I believe these are all the movies that are actually available and if you haven't selected one of them then you probably haven't got any movies as yet.

Haha that was just what I thought of when I read your post.

Did you do the math or did you know it was a 3-4-5?

I'm almost certain they don't want you to let DTV know anything at any time. I believe they only want it reported here. :)

Well, I can report here that I haven't had a single thing recorded/downloaded on my HR24, including those things currently available multiple times a day on the PPV channels. Also haven't had anything new on my HR22 since Avatar was recorded Friday. :nono:

Is the phone line connected on the HR24? I ask that because I have not received anything on my DVR that is not connected. I was going to run a phone line to it before I watched anything, but so far nothing has shown up.

I received Shutter Island on my HR24 and I have no phone connected to any of my receivers.

We've done PPV before in this configuration with no problems and it appeared on my bill as expected

I am in the middle of nowhere right now (motorhome), with no phone line and my receivers are not hooked to the Internet, and I still got Shutter Island.

I originally watched The Wolfman and accepted three times and cancelled twice and was billed correctly. The Wolfman ans Avatar showed on my all list as ready with a check mark, but had to be selected to move the recording from the D* reserved area to my playlist. From Paris With Love recorded straight to my playlist, which I imagine is how it should work.

Six other movies are in the queue, but I'm not sure if this is an availability issue or functionality issue.

Can you still order it and the charge just holds on the card until you get a phone line?
