I wonder? Are these part of the MUX on C Band, at 97w? If it is, they have GritTV as part of that package. That would be a good add on, for those who like movies for men. Right now, that channel is an active subchannel, on over the air channels in larger markets.
I would think a company that just won carriage of 7 nationally distributed HD channels would give it more effort. It's amazing how many business ventures aren't supposed to make money.
I wish there was al a carte available. Some channels need to go chapter 7, to allow more viable choices to emerge.
You should check what's the highest rated content on cable, if those aren't among the channels you watch, if a la carte were available chances are some of your favorites would either change their format to appeal to a wider audience so they can be in more homes, jack up their prices because they can no longer charge the same rate to advertisers if they are now in less homes, or just go under.
Yes there's Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime, but they can only do so much, many of their "originals" are actually stuff commissioned by other networks first (so they didn't pay for the development cycle where even in rejected pilots the cast and crew still get paid for their time), or stuff imported from other countries.
? what is SD?
