I recently changed from Time Warner to AT&T for internet.

AT&T gave me the Pace 5286 modem. I have my Nighthawk r8000 plugged into it. For some reason, I cannot figure out how to enable the Out of Home. I have a GenieGo and an HR44.

I have tried to autoconfigure through the app on my Android tablet and Android phone, but it does not work.

I believe everything was working fine before I changed to AT&T.

From my quick Google search it appears that the Pace 5286 is a router/modem combo. Not only that but it appears to be one that you can't easily put into bridge mode like most. Here is one thread I found where people were supposedly able to get their own routers to work behind the 5286, but I'm not sure if it will work for you. You may have to just quit using the R8000 if you want out of home to work.
