Has anyone else seen ch2 in hd be a mess today? Audio is fine but video breaks up and goes south about ever 4 or 5 mins.

I got one episode of about 3 minutes length in an hour of watching. The screnn seemed to break into six panes, each pane pixelated.

I noticed this last night during the USC/Nebraska game. It got so annoying that I switched over to OTA and that was fine.

Not just WSB; WUPA was a mess earlier this morning when we had "The Batman" on....the signal was pretty much a set of stop-motion signals.

WSB needs to hire the engineers from WXIA.. they seem to be able to deliver a constant signal. WSB is constantly up and down..:nono2:

Looks like it's still a problem. Anchorman just isn't the same.

I have had more issues with WXIA's signal of D* than WSB. This WSB issue seems to be a recent occurrence. WXIA frequently pixelates and goes green. Plus if OTA is working okay, then it has to be an issue with the transmission to D* or D* transmission to the home.

Well what the heck happened to WXIA-HD tonight? It's completely frozen right now.

Good to know I'm not the only one seeing it, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

As long as I'm here -- I have seen the green screen problems on WXIA for about a year now on HD broadcasts occasionally, and the WSB problems last night and this morning were awful. I don't understand why we seem to have more consistent problems with our locals in Atlanta than most other cities do.

Do you have hard proof we are having more issues than other cities? Not trying to be antagonistic, just trying to avoid misinformation based on speculation.

You also have to remember that even in large markets, most people still see the stations via SD, so there is not the impetus to fix problems with the signal as rapidly or letting people know what those problems are. Hopefully that is changing as more and more people chose to watch the HD signal. Since OTA seems to be ok, this must be an issue transmitting to D* or from D* to our homes.
