I upgraded to a Genie 2 and the audio sync is really bad. I did some searching and there are some posts on the directv/att forums about the issue, but no solutions. I tried resetting the genie but no improvement. I have two TVs set up and it's on both. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

A possible solution for audio sync issues is to change the channel, then change back.

Are you going through any audio receivers, soundbars, etc?

I have an HS17 going on three years and have not seen (heard) this happen.

No, it happens direct to the TV. It doesn't matter if you change channels, watching recordings or whatever.

Have you tried turning OFF DOLBY --- On the D* receiver --Menu Setting -Audio ? -Does it make a difference?

Haven't seen that problem for some time. Used to be, all you had to do was skip back a couple times and it would fix that problem.

I got a new receiver and I'm running it through that and it seems to be mostly fixed. It still seems to be slightly off to me but my son says it looks fine to him.

    Thanks for the replies.
