Thinking of going back to Directv, when I was with Dish during heavy rain fade and locals were lost the Hopper would auto tune to SD locals as they often came in stronger on a different SAT.

Does Directv do this? I get a lot of heavy bad storms in tornado alley.
If it does any advantage to signing up with JUST ONE Spanish package say the $4.99 one so they are forced to give me the LNB that does 4K Reverse band and also does the 119 Sat for my locals?

Is is that combo LNB not used much and is too hard to get an installer to do and peek?

Any chance Directv will just auto tune to their Stream Live channels during rain fade? I have a very fast internet for it.

watch transition of international channels to RB in Gary Toma's postings
I'm not sure what channels from your sub will be on RB, I would guess none of them

Even if you are in one of the markets where Directv currently offers MPEG2 SD locals on 119, they are going away later this year and Directv is going to be discontinuing use of that location entirely. Very soon now all new installs will use the SL3 (99/101/103) LNB.
