Billing Issues with Disney Plus

    Last week I had signed up for Disney Plus, just prior to receiving the one year invitation from Verizon Wireless. I did what was suggested at that time and cancelled the trial, signing up for the Verizon one year trial instead.

    Lo and behold, yesterday I received a notice from Google Play that my Disney Plus had been renewed and I had been charged. When I called Google, I was able to quickly able to resolve the situation, the Google rep had a set of procedures to correct the issue. It sounds like they had another glitch there.

    I will say that in reviewing my Google Play account, the Disney Plus accounts there have been cancelled and at Disney Plus, the only account shown is the Verizon one that renews in November 2020.
