    The...
    In case you haven't noticed...

I don't want to jinx my homies, but after a disappointing [piss-poor] 40-49 first half, I feel
obligated to point out to you peeps that after coming off the All* break, my Atlanta Braves
are absolutely on fire. Now, I don't know if Bobby Cox put Viagra in their Wheaties or what, but
whatever went down in the Braves locker room just before the first game against SD after
the break sure as hell worked -- 65 runs in the first five games (13 runs/game) -- and
against the leaders of the NL west and NL central divisions.

WTF? It wasn't that long ago that my bumbling Braves couldn't buy a run with the bases
loaded and the other team on a Gatoraid break! Are these are the same guys that have
been breakin' my little ole heart since the season started? Un-freakin-believable!

    Check it out:

    7/14 ATL @ SD - W 15-12

    7/15 @ SD - W 11-3

    7/16 @ SD - W 10-5

    7/17@ STL - W 15-3

    7/18 @ STL - W 14-5

    Braves-65, other guys-28 ... :icon_da:

    Tonight's Game: @ STL 8:10pm E - FSN, MLB.TV

They're on a tear, but I wouldn't expect that level of performance to last. They'll settle down. They're definitely in the running for the wild card.

after this weekend sweep at the hands of the mets, they are hoping they can make the wild card. by the way , message to giles, the mets are looking way over their shoulders now .
