We have an HS-17 and two C61-700's and one C61K. The 700's seem to have an odd issue where when watching broadcasts (live and DVR) they pause once in a while (just for a second or so) and then starts going again.

    Anyone else seeing this?

Actually, just changed the HDMI cable. Will see if that helps. That cable was one of my older ones.

Tried a new cable and replaced the remote batteries (although not sure what that would do) and still happened.

You only see that when using the C61K?

His first post says he's seeing the issue with the two C61-700's. not with the C61K-700.

Two C61s doing the same thing would point to the 17, wouldn't it? But why not the C61K?

Could be a software issue. The C61-700s are on 0x12c3, the C61K-700 is on 0x12c5.

I have 3 C61’s on my HS17 and can not duplicate this. Pause works fine

I don't believe he is talking about it happening while using pause.
He is describing the same issues that I have.
The video/audio pauses or glitches for a few seconds and then continues.
It happens on all 3 of my C61Ks. Does not happen on my HR54-500.

Check your coax connections. Maybe look at also replacing your splitter

The family updated me to advise it was only happening with one of the C61's. I will recheck all connections as a next step.

Hi Radamo ... I've been having this same problem since upgrading to the C61k-700, in conjunction with my new Samsung Q90 65". I have toggled (what I thought) every single setting within the Genie and also the TV (as well as my Yamaha RXA780 receiver). To me it seems like a jittery/frame rate issue. Tonight I MIGHT have found something. I went into the Genie's Display settings and I unchecked 720p, 1080i, and 1080p ... leaving only 4k checked. Of course, I go back in there and it automatically checked 720p. I unchecked 720p again and checked only 1080p and 4k. I go back in and see that 720p is automatically checked again. So, there is something hard coded there. At this point, I have them all checked EXCEPT 1080i. For now, I have not had the jitter issue one time over the last 30 minutes while watching the oscars. Fingers crossed! One other thing that I find odd is that I never experienced the jittery picture while watching commercials. Something odd right there!
