We don't see the issue so frequently. We only have the pauses occur once or twice a day. Very hard to zone in on the issue.

I have the same problem. Been happening
For months. Called about it. Some sort of glitch with the Genie 2. Looks like DirecTv unwilling to fix it.

I have had the Genie 2 since 2017 Numerous Glitches. Mainly pausing for a second swapped out the Minis Did not fix it. Dont know if its worth canceling over it but very Annoying to say the least

This issue is the sole reason that I am watching/considering ATTTV.

I would suggest as it has been for others, checking for cabling, replacing ends/splitters etc

I’ve had this problem for some time (my wife really dislikes it), and have read several threads describing it (like this one). I had assumed it was a DTV or HS17 core issue, but some here don’t have it. Never had it with Dish using same cabling, though that doesn’t eliminate it, at the same time being so widespread would point to an equipment or system problem (do we all have bad splitters and cabling, or is the equipment not very fault tolerant?)

We have seen problems that only appear on some receivers. Bad splitters or cabling will produce problems that are specific to the equipment downriver from them. Yeah, the equipment could be called fault intolerant.
