Every time I turn on C61k and tune in to a 4K channel, I get the message TV does not support 4k.

Then I have to go in a check resolution again.

    Any fix? Call it in?

It is driving me insane as well! Last night I got the HLG HDR pop up but I had no sound and a blank screen. Yet silence from Directv!!

Many of us are experiencing this bug and many others with the new firmware/GUI.

Folks: When you go through the 18 button pushes to get to the Menu and check off 4K, do you see a difference? I do not, and suspect that it already is transmitting 4K to the set. Like some other input on that, though.

I don’t. But my tv is indicating it is still receiving HDR which could explain the less of a differences

Yes, I see a difference for sure. Check your 4K settings on your set as I believe you should for sure see some difference.

I had this issue, but one of the updates to the SW on my HR54 fixed it. That said, as someone mentioned, I really think it's still transmitting 4k HDR, but the GUI for some reason loses sync. When I went to 1088, that was what fixed it. Have patience, it will eventually fix. At least, for me SOMETHING got fixed.

The point was after going through the settings re 4K, there was no difference in picture. Steveknj phrased it well; it was 4K all along, but the message was wrong.

Not on mine. I clearly saw a difference on my LG B6

I only have this issue on my LG. The Samsung is fine, but the Samsung is an older model without HDR.

I clearly see a difference with my Vizio m65-DO when it is checked.
