    New to this forum. Background:

Comcast service since 2018. Before service was activated, Cable J-box on back of house was not only unlocked, it had no fastener at all. After service was activated, J-box was left in same state by Comcast. Picture of a similar J-box is attached.

Comcast came out recently for a troubleshoot, which was repaired. When technician left, a locking fastener was installed that is unusual. (He should have mentioned that he did this - I only discovered later.) It is NOT the common LTT-7/GTT-7 fastener. It is a different type that has a tiny hole in the end. It seems to require a pin to insert while gripping the round fastener and unscrewing.

This is confounding. Does anyone know what type of fastener this might be? I'd like to obtain the right removal tool.

Is this a house or a apartment complex? Why is locking needed if it’s a house?
