Is there a hidden setting to remove the preview window from the List window and Guide window.* When we finish watching a taped show and the screen goes back to the List window, we often see another show that we are recording in the preview window.* This is really frustrating when it is the end of the show and you see how it finishes (like who wins or what the twist at the end is). Also, is there a hidden setting for increasing the number of shows shown on the Guide page?* The default is 1 1/2 hrs. but would like to show more time slots per page. The Dish DVR has standard settings for both of these items which is great.DVR: HR22-100

There is no way to turn of the picture in the list or guide at this time. One thing you can do, when a show is over, simply hit list and choose another to watch beforet he other finishes, and delete the old one later.. I know, not a good solution long term... We have a wishlist in the HD DVR threads that Directv sees and they have implemented many things that we have asked for... And we have asked that they make it so that the picture in the window never shows a tuner that is recording, unless we had choosen to watch that progam...

As for more channels on the guide... no way to change that now, and I doubt you'll see a way for a while. The basic rumor is, Directv will bring an HD GUI to this system, and we are all hoping that when they do, we will have, or at least have the option to have more channels and hours showing in the guide... The current hope is that the HD GUI will be out next year.. but no one knows for sure...

When you get to the list hit the pause button. That will only pause the video in the preview window.
