Can you program an RF AND IR remote to one HR24, at the same time?

Can you program both an RF and and IR remote to the same receiver, so either will work it?

Seems impossible, but maybe there's a "trick" I'm unaware of.

    No.
The receiver has to be in IR or RF mode but will not do both at the same time. The HR44 will do that.
However, you can program 2 remotes in RF mode for the same receiver.

Genies operate in both IR and RF simultaneously.

I used to do that, works really well when you need to go thru walls. Don't remember how to do that, naturally.

That would work too. I should have clarified......it is on an HR24 that I want to do this.

How do you program two remotes in RF mode for the same receiver?

    HR24 was in your title.
Follow the instructions on the screen of your TV.
I will post a link to a manual that explains in detail how to put the Receiver and the Remote into RF mode.
Once you do that, just repeat the last steps with the second remote.
If the TVs are the same brand you might not be able to get this to work.

Choose the RC64R manual. It explains it better.

That it was, haha. I posted late.....guess I forgot.

But yes.....thanks. It is two different brand tv's. The kitchen tv is an old crt that you can't even program a remote to anyway. We have to find a very small 1080P tv for the kitchen counter, but until then....
