Channels changing packages?

    What's the theory of having them on a lower package but not one above it?

    So if I called DT and asked for Preferred Xtra I would get all those channels ?

    While the Preferred Xtra package is a few $ less than Xtra , I would not consider it a lower package even though it costs less. It actually has about the same number of nationals as Ultimate (execpt the sports) which makes it more than Xtra in that respect. What Preferred Xtra doesn't have compared to Xtra are all the national sports channels including regional sports and it also doesn't come with the RSN fee. It has just a few national sports channels which I think are ESPN and FS1. So depending on your viewing preference, Xtra could have more channels or Preferred Xtra can have more despite being considered a lower package. There is a trade off of including more national networks where sports are not included.

    I can confirm Sprout is now working on Xtra. Wow when did that happen? A G.D. Message or guide banner would have been nice.
