I think that your memory is a bit off DJ. I remeber the famous 60 Minutes interview in 1992 when the Gennifer Flowers charges first surfaced. Hillary did a pretty good "stand by your man" routine and during the interview mentioned that if you vote for Bill you get ehm both and that she would not just be baking cookies.

The only infidelity scandal I rember involving another candidate that year was the "other Jennifer" story that floated around about the first President Bush. Hillary was smart enough to stay silent on that but supposedly said that reporters had crosseda line by asking the Bush children about it. You can decide if Hillary as being respectful of the Bush family or her own.

But it all turned out to be true. The 60 minutes interview was shown for one reason. To discredit all of the women that Clinton had been with . And it may have worked. But later we found out all of it was true. And face it guys, Hillary knew when the story broke about Bill Clinton and the intern that it was true also. He had done it before with other women. Hillary went on TV the next day after getting advice about how to talk about it and called it a Right Wing Conspiracy.

But even Matt Lauer from the Today show asked her questions she didn't want to answer. He asked her if this is found out to be true is the President in trouble? She said Yes. But it won't be found out to be true. Later is was found out to be true. She was never standing by her man. She wanted to get to the White House. I for one didn't think much of Paula Jones but she was never found guilty of lies in Court. The President was . And then they show how Bill and Hillary worked on the marriage(yeah sure) and went to church and blah blah blah blah. Chelsea Clinton leaves the White house with them one day and she is in between them because Hillary is still mad at the President. These people are so fake .

What would I have done? Well, I'm a married man and happy but if I had done what Clinton did I would have told the truth from the start. Some wondered why he didn't . He thought he could get away with it once again I guess. He had in the past. And if the press really did a fair look at this they would have asked Clinton if this was the only one he did this with. But I believe just like me they believed that she was just one of many women.

Clinton lied to many people including his own people . Remember George Stephanopoulos? When the stories starting coming out about Clinton writing a letter saying how much he hated the Military Clinton told Stephanopoulos that is wasn't true. So when the letter came out Stephanopoulos went to Clinton and asked him about it. He was really mad at him about the lie he told him. But James Carville found a way to cover this also. Read the book by Stephanopoulos .

I think you miss the point of the post Mainedish---or just wish to divert it. I simply said that DJ's memory was in error in this case and that Mrs. Clinton definitely did a "stand by your man" act in 1992.

    Stand by your man "act"

    You got that right.

And my post goes back to Hillary. She's fake. If the video game showed a Republican being killed she never would have talked about it.

You have no idea if what you are speculating on is true or not. Only the Clintons really know what their relationship is based on, and what kind of punishment Bill suffered when Hillary found out, and when she found out. You also have only your own partisan speculation to make your assertion that if Republicans were shown being killed Hillary wouldn't object. In other words, your post belongs in the thread on nothing.

Ohferhevvinssake, grow up, people! This business of Clinton and Bush bashing has gone a little too far. We all know that W. Clinton had oral sex performed in him by Lewinsky. Shame on them both.
This is a thread about Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, as I recall. Roackstar Games has been outed, as it were, and they have admitted that explicit sexual conduct exists in all versions of the game. That being said, the ESRB has changed the rating from Mature to Adults only. For that reason a lot of retailers have pulled the game and will not be selling it.
Some may look on this as censorship. That's stretching a point in a big way. Adults may still buy the game, but not necessarily in all the stores where they could buy it in the past. In some stores, it's just not on public display, the same as Playboy, Hustler, Playgirl and similar magazines. It may even wind up on sale in "Adult" bookstores. If these same adults choose to let their young children play the games, that's their decision to make, just as it has been for all M rated games in the past.
The same thing holds for movies, except there the rules are tighter. Children 17 and under are not admitted to NC-17 rated movies. The difference in age criteria between the M and AO ratings of games is that you must be 17 or older to buy M rated games, and 18 or older to buy AO rated games. To understand the ratings systems, see www.mpaa.org and www.esrb.org.

She did punish him. They started sleeping in the same bed. Now that is punishment.

Cholly, you make more sense than anybody. Next time you come to Texas (and you WILL come here) stop by the La Hacienda and we'll sip some iced tea and go for a boat ride. :D

The code is admitted to be in the PS/2 and Xbox versions as well, which is why major retailers pulled them. Rockstar has to relabel all existing copies of the game AO, which will keep it out of those stores until Rockstar comes out with a version that has the offending code removed.
Incidentally, the House of Representatives has passed a resolution requesting an investigation of Rockstar by the FTC, with possible heavy fines forthcoming as a result of the investigation.
