Color comes to E Ink screens, but not quite ready for prime time

    Interesting indeed. Sounds like the Mirasol display from Qualcomm will have some competition from E-ink. I could be wrong but I don't see either one of these displacing Black and White E-ink as the leader for dedicated readers for a few product generations when they can get the colors vibrant and more life-like.

    For a look at the Mirasol display (that can do full motion video and supposedly beats E-ink on power consumption handily):
