I hope it happens and soon. I can't take not being able to watch the Phillies and Flyers on a regular basis. Will D* also file a complaint, or is E* going on its own?

DirecTV also requested access to the network, but there hasn't been any news since then. It's possible they are still attempting to negotiate and weren't ready to give up and ask the FCC.

Comcast will do anything and everything to stall this getting on either DBS company. The instant it's broadcast on either company comcast will be in for some serious churn and they are aware of it.

Please understand I am not doubting you, but could you post that tweet? Would be interested in the actual language, and I don't "tweet" yet.

I'd like to spend the next 10 days decoding it like it was the Kennedy Assasination film or a Satelliteracer post...:)

I think the tweet was referring to Fox Sports?

User: @DIRECTV By the way, have you guys set a date for FS+ HD rollout? Thanks, you're amazing!

DirecTV tweet back: @user Next week, most likely.

It was the one for guitar earl. I though the lines were crossed too. It seems the stock answer to FSC.

Please post your source. Unless it was an official D*, Earl, or Satelliteracer post, I would not believe a word of it until I saw CSN Philly on my D* screen as an RSN.

Not gonna happen. Comcast has too many politicians in their pocket.

We are now with the FCC and the courts. Not sure local politicians are going to help much.

tonyd - we still have that nasty Constitutional issue - can the Executive branch (the FCC) change the law written by Congress. Federal courts have almost always said, "no".

I'm not an attorney, but I did take a graduate class in Constitutional Law (I was a glutton for punishment!)
