Didn't the blazers say this problem would be solved soon.....

I clearly remember hearing that 4 or 5 times over the last 3 years... no resolution on site.

Luckily every season the online overseas broadcasts of the games gets better and better.

Yep, we've heard that. But nothing ever changes. It's time to hold the clowns at Comcast accountable.

    No news is bad news.

I'm really starting to think that the Blazers don't care and Comcast is so poorly run they think they are making money by not being on Satellite.

The Blazers are still hanging on the party line of "we are in negotiations, so we can't talk about it, not even one little bit, not even hint that things are going good or bad, because in actuality we aren't doing squat, we already got paid so why should we care?"

if directv and comcast cannot come to a resolution they should be forced to go to arbitration

I was hoping Directv would have held back Fox Sports when they bought it and then trade that for the comcast channels but they didn't apparently.

They let comcast have those channels for a fair price while not demanding a fair price for this channel.

Yep, we all think so. Congress can poke it's head into all sorts of issues, but cannot solve these access issues...it's a crock. Comcast has certain politicians in it's pockets and we'll, what can we do?

The Blazers could have protected their customer - but they chose not to....the Blazers legal advice was horrendously poor. They didn't build a safeguard into access for their customers. This is lawyer 101. Either they saw the green and didn't care or their advisors are idiots.

They would side with Comcast since Comcast buddied up with the local cable companies, then they would say that DirecTV should pay the same price as the local cable companies did.

    Good News!

The Blazers will be streaming the games on KGW channel 8 for free this year at no charge.

Wow thanks Blazers -- everyone already gets this channel on the satellite.

Not a single word about the comcast games.

There is a NBA league pass free trial going on. Any way we get the Blazers/Knicks tonight on one of those channels or do you think they will black it out?

If you are in the Blazers home market, it should be blacked out on LP...

I figured that. I noticed they have 2 channels so my next question is where are they getting the blazers feed if it's only on CSNW here?

Its the CSNNW feed. D* can use it in the NBALP package for viewers outside the region, unfortunately they can't turn it on for those of you inside the region because D* doesn't have rights to carry the full time channel.

everything helps. At least it brings more awareness to the issue. Take a good look at what's going to happen should Comcast be allowed to buy NBC....more of these antics by Comcast.
