Thx TXD16 and apologies all for my oversight.
Hey, it's a long thread and, hopefully, one that will be worthy of closure in but a few days.

As the original creator of this thread, I can say my brother-in-law down in Houston is very excited to be able to follow the Rockets! - He's a Yankees fan, so he doesn't really care for the Astros.
Anything Official on actual launch date? I've only seen speculation on the thread so far unless I have missed it.
when the Yankees play the Astros...he will be happy..he can watch it on root sports

Would it previously be blocked on Extra Innings? I know he has extra innings 'cause of the Yankees.
Tonight's game is recording on *674 -- recording on Genie but can't find it on the DVR (HR24) that I Am watching.
I found this website for root sports southwest
Nice find. :righton:
I live in the baton rouge area and I have mlb.tv..and when the Astros or rangers play...they are blacked out on mlb.tv...but now with root sports he will have to watch that channel for the Astros...
looking at their schedule for Monday night with the rockets game...I live in the baton rouge area...I know I won't get the rockets game because I am in the pelicans broadcast area...would I get the alternative programming
Ya the blackout rules are tricky, I live in oklahoma so I obviously get all thunder games, but I also get all Maverick games too, all other markets I don't get.
I just went to the Comcast sports net website....and they already took down Houston
674 is in the iPhone app guide.
Marked as Root Sports SW.
