    All,
I noticed a couple months ago on my DirecTV programming (in the DC area) that there are two 629 CSN channels on my HD receivers. Well, I just noticed last night that the 2nd 629 channel displayed in 1080i. Has anyone else notice this for DirecTV in the DC area? Or is it just me being slow? I don't remember DirecTV announcing that the 2nd 629 channel would be in HD.

It has been like that for a long time now. It is only in the DC market. Baltimore Receives the standard channel but not the HD channel.

Hey BMoreRavens - I like your name. Go Ravens! Really, it's been this way for a while? I thought that the only HD channels for now were in the 70's. Oh well, thanks.

    Dripping...

D* started doing this in other markets with 24/7 HD RSN channels. Folks are wondering if D* will also be doing this when they hopefully launch all the new HD channels later the year.
