I was looking at compression tools on e-bay. I found a zenith compression tool for around 20 bucks shipped. Can i use this tool on PPC connectors or any other besides zenith connectors.

You'll be fine.... I have use a Thomas and Bates one... their fittings are great.

There is no major difference about a quad-shield vs non quad-shield... except for some out the smaller diameters of the connections.

It is not that much of a difference, that you would need a special tool... and frankly it would be boarder line idiotic for them to develop a tool specifically for the RG-6...

    Pretty good price too.

Thanks Earl. I saw no reason paying $50 for something i was only going to use once.

    Broken...
I hope you haven't bid on or bought it yet. The reason? You can get the same tool at any Lowe's for about $18.00, or $28 in a kit with 10 fittings.
