Glad Dish added COZI. Another nice diginet that many do not get OTA. My only other two requests are Decades & Antenna TV. I do get Antenna TV OTA here, but the translator is weaker and it does get some glitches from time to time. Decades is not available OTA. It was run in Portland but was dropped for Bounce. Thank you Dish!

I’m glad too! I have METV, Cozi and Antenna TV over the air but the reception is spotty at best. I’d love Dish to add Antenna TV and especially Decades to the lineup. I’ve been requesting it for a while.

Keep requesting Decades. That is one I really want too!

I don't think COZI is even in HD.

A few of the diginets are in HD like METV, but most probably don't see the sense as they are diginets with narrow bandwidth. We might see more HD in the future once 3.0 gets going though.

The feasibility of content benefiting a conversion to HD depends on lots of things. For example, many of the shows that were done 60's, 70's maybe 80's, were recorded on 35mm film - film is inherently HD - you just need a scanner that can go to that resolution. "Hogan's Heroes" was done like that for its HD run. The later shows like Star Trek TNG have a mix of film and CGI - I've already said the film can be scanned, but the CGI would need to be redone in HD.

And like mwdxer stated, maybe the diginets don't send it out in HD due to bandwidth constraints. Our KC MeTV is apparently broadcast in HD - but I haven't watched it enough on the shows I watch to give a good report on how they handle 4:3 original to 16:9 current broadcast. For all I know they are doing stretching and pulling it out of correct aspect ratio (I have a thing for wanting content in the correct aspect ratio - even if it leaves gray/black bars on the screen). I do like that Dish is broadcasting MeTV in SD in the 4:3 aspect ratio.

When Cozi was on a -1 in Boston, it was in HD. I don't know if that was done at the local level, like upscaling it or whatever. It looked good, though. Then it changed to SBN and now infomercials. Still in HD. WMFP Boston, ch 62. That was the only way we got it on Directv, unless you could get it OTA and merge it in.

I have no idea what feed a station gets. If they take it off satellite (backyard dish), many are not in HD. COZI never used to be, but I have not checked in a while. Ones that are in HD I know of are METV, and Bounce.

    Great...
Be real nice if Dish would add "H&I.

I was a big fan of Z Living until it went "Ozzie and Harriet".

Just what was needed, more programming older than me. Another channel that can join "the burning logs".

    My bad.

Dish must have added this recently. [H&I].
