I remember DirectTV broadcasted many cricket matches in HD..20/20 World Cup in England , few IPL Games etc..so, I wonder..if there is a game available in HD, would DirectTV do it again for willow TV? and if they do it, Will Dish do it too? Just a thought.

ZEE Sports doesn't show live Indian football, try DISH PPV ch. 454/471 for the Asian Cup from Qatar January 7-29, 2011 usually the games will be in the morning.

Well, Its not Willow Cricket who is showing ad. for World Cup. Its Star Cricket which are telecasting NZ-PAK series are showing ad. for India. But I sure think, World Cup will be on Willow Cricket and it will be with no extra charge then whatever we are paying them.

I came across Roku and Boxee Boxes. Can they be used to watch ESPN3 on TV without computer?
Actually, on my Laptop ESPN3 does not work good even I have 16 Mbps Comcast connection.

Dish Network has had mention of the World Cup here for as long as they've had Willow Channel:

    http://www.dishnetwork.com/packages/ppv/sports/cricket/

No pricing details, but makes it seem as if it will be different from Willow Channel. DirecTV of course has no details, but now its 2011, maybe we'll see some details of Cricket Ticket 2011 if its going to re-appear for this year.

Willow.tv now lists World Cup matches in their menu of matches for which streaming video will be available here:

    http://www.willow.tv/EventMgmt/UserMgmt/FixtureArchive.asp

I'm guessing the World Cup will still be PPV on Dish/DirecTV, but seems like it will be part of the $15 a month online package at willow.tv
