    After removing the ethernet cable did you reboot the HR24, it automatically won't go back to DECA just by removing it. You can also look at the system info screen and more info, scroll down to the networking info and it will tell you if you're connected via coax or ethernet.

    And yes, the IP addresses on the STB's should match what your router assigns for your network, the 192.168.1.X in your case.

    Got MRV working but tunner 2 in the HR24 and my old DVR are not happy .... starting to turn into one of those install horror stories

    Everything is working ....problems boiled down to not knowing how to connect everything up and using the right hardware.

    Always amazes me the amount of incompetence that is our there. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of great techs out there. I've had 2 at my house over the last 7 years as a matter of fact...but in that same amount of time i've had 4 bad ones. Shouldn't be that way.

    I would like to thank everyone here for their help. It helped me convey things to them. I actually cut & pasted from these forums and printed out stuff for them.

    Yes ... new slimline SWM3 Dish, SWM16 switch, 8way splitter, 4 way splitter, one HR24, one H24, one H21, three D12's.
