yup, Bangor ME moved back and they still won't grant me an hd waiver. fox and abc don't even broadcast in hd up here so ota doesn't address it.

a big "+1", kind of makes one feel overlooked and under-appreciated

Likewise, and no hint of a reason for the omission!!

Better to under promise than over promise I suppose. They might just not have a date yet.

I'm just sck and tired of watching NC and SC political ads when I live in GA and can't vote (or want to!) in those states!! Forget a waiver.

    Broken...
Some interesting facts to note here. All the December additions except Tallahassee, FL have been delayed to the first quarter of 2009. Dothan AL, which was on the original list then mysteriously disappeared, has returned as a 1Q 2009 addition. Finally, DirecTV has added Odessa-Midland, TX to the list, bringing the total number of markets that will be launched by the time the present list is completed to 125. That will leave DirecTV only 25 more markets to launch to achieve having every SD market also in HD.

Sadly for those in smaller DMAs, they tend to roll out the larger DMAs first so if you are in a smaller one it will take some time.

    I want Columbia, SC!

The state capital of SC does not have HD locals, but Greenville/Spartanburg and Charleston do have them.
