DECA configurations

    Folks .. Please, no discussion here, only your setup. A nice diagram is always helpful, but the key some key information can help draw the picture ..

    Here's my information (for now)

    DECA Cloud
    DECA (1): H21-200
    DECA (2): HR20-700
    DECA (3): HR23-700
    DECA (4): HR21-200 (Port #1) *​

    Local Area Network
    Ethernet: HR20-700
    Ethernet: H23-600
    Ethernet: HR21-200 (Port #2) *​

    Wide Area Network
    DSL 6000/768 (effective 5000/600)​

    All receivers get IP information via DHCP with a fixed IP address associated with the MAC of each receiver.
    Nothing is wireless at the moment.

    * HR21-200 in LAN/DECA sections above is the same STB

    Ethernet: HR23-700 via WGA600N

    Wide Area Network
    Cox Cable 20000/2000 (effective 25000-33000/1500-5000) to WRT600N (802.11n @ 5GHz)

    All receivers have a fixed IP address with manual port forwarding for Network Services.

    All receivers except HR23-700 can be hard-wired to router
    All receivers can be hooked up wirelessly if desired.
    Can use 2nd HR22-100 port for router connection if desired.

    Here's my information (for now)

    This configuration had all DECA C.LNK LED's yellow and the network proved to work in all expected scenarios. A complete shutdown and reboot changed the C.LNK LED's to green.

    This setup will no longer be used. I found with the latest CE that the MRV from the R22-200 as the server was very choppy and not pleasent to use.

    The one HR20 will be swap out for a H23-600 or H21-200 this weekend. I planned for the H23 but after finding out it did not work yet I need to do some rewiring to get the H21 setup.
