    Thanks guys...appreciate the input.

Please note that we are not looking to creating a 20-page document on this....

    It's a First Look. :)

We should be in good shape with all the helpful and useful suggestions to date.

I had some issues when it was hooked up like that. I was able to use the second port to connect the H21-200 so it would be in the cloud hooked to port 1 of the HR21-200.

Are you interested in using this type of drawing?

I can do the other one as well.

"The only issue" I'm [still] having by using the HR21-200's second port, is during a software download [at around 10% mark] something is spit out of the DVR that causes my router to "go nuts", kicking me out of the chatroom and requiring the router to be powered down to reset.
This has happened with every CE download, since I've started using the second port for my ISP connection. Before I was using it for the H21-200 without this issue.
I can/have rebooted the DVR and it doesn't do this. This only happens during the download [long before it starts to install the software].

Mark, that drawing was great. I ask everyone here to check it for accuracy.

As far as MRV being listed since there's no clear consensus, I'm making a call on the field:

There will be no mention of MRV unless it goes national before this First Look is published, and that's not likely.

All appeals, please contact me or my boss Mr. Brott.

Since it is a new component and most people will not recognize it I suggest that you label the filter.

You know me to be just and fair, and if the appeal is compelling, my decision will be reversed.

My other drawing also shows the newer LNB/SWM.

    Whatever you guys think!

I think we should use these drawings!

So, do you want to post the pics of the filter & PI so I can photoshop the background out of them?

    Dripping...
Should some warning be in the doc about if you're in a MDU using SWM to make sure that you check with your landlord before installing any DECA's to make sure the DECA filter has been installed and that others off the same port on the SWM would be able to see your DVR's if they also have DECA's?

"Following" the MoCA cable company FAQ: the filter should be mounted at the POE [point of entry], which would cause this to be a "non issue".

Sorry, don't agree. What's the POE, where the cable enters the unit, where the cable enters the building from the dish, placement can be important.
