Thanks for responding... I was trying to check early, (Since I am online about three hours earlier then LA)... but obviously the HR24's were just as impacted as the other systems.

    Thanks for the replyes

I only checked 2 of my 3 HR24-500's, but they were both fine, although one did exhibit an image freeze upon changing channels but that cleared with rechanging channels. The other was on the channel I wanted to watch.

I may need to recheck when I get home.

I voted "yes" even though my HR24-200 was not fully locked up. It would not show programming when other channels were selected, but I was able to do a Menu restart to get it working properly. As I noted in the issues thread, my HR24-200 seemed to be fine after just one restart rather than the two needed by most systems, including my HR22-100.

HR24-500 was fine, but the two HR20-700s, the HR22-100, and the HR23-700 all required the dual RBRs.

I got home for lunch and my HR24-100 was locked up. It took 2 RBR's to get it back running again. Also, all of my HR's was locked up today.

Yeah, I posted in the issues thread, as well. HR24-100 locked up during live TV this morning. BTBRBR returned it to service. I did precautionary BTBRBR on my other two HR's as well.

Mine was semi functional. I'm not sure if mine locked up, or just got taken down when i rebooted everything but it.

HR24-100 powered on but was locked up after that. RBR 2x fixed.
    (3) HR22-100 would not power on. RBR 2x Fixed.

Just got home - yes....the HR24-100 was locked as reported early....as were the other units here.

Double reboot cycle cured as others have reported.

I don't know. When I got home from work at 5:30 all of my receivers had rebooted at some point but all are working.

My HR24-500 did not lock up. My HR20-700, HR21-200 and two HR22-100's all did lock up. An RBR restarted them, but they locked up again so I did a two RBR within 30 minutes and that seems to have resolved the issue.

The H24-200 was fine this morning, the HR20-700 had rebooted sometime overnight but was working fine when I checked it, the HR21-100 I will check when I get home from work.

    Wish I knew.

Woke up, headed out, got home after the adventure was over.

HR24 did reboot, but I assume that was the forced reboot.

    Sorry.

Odd, but I am gonna speak up anyhow.

My HR22-100 locked up last night. I had never seen this happen before and decided it was a fluke, but then I saw this unrelated post... and thought I should mention it.

(sorry, I read threads from top to down, and did not see the nationwide problem).

I voted "what lock-up". I didn't know to check before i went to work. I get home at 8:30 and check and it was not locked up. I really don't know if it did or not.

No lockups on either the HR24-500 or the H24-100. HR21-700 and HR23-700 both locked up.

Couldn't get the HR24 out of standby early this afternoon but hadn't been using it since about 3AM. So it locked up some time between about 3:15AM EDT and 2:27PM. One RBR brought it back.

Same with the HR23. Was reading the twitter feed of Directv and saw that it was a system wide issue and that they were gonna reboot all the HD DVR's remotely (those are in MY words, not quoting what I read on twitter per se). Guess so because when I checked the HR24 a while ago, it was no longer in standby as I'd left it.

PS. My brother who doesn't use this forum had emailed me this morning telling me something was up with Directv because he'd found all three of his HD DVR's locked up this morning.
