    +1 on this issue. I think the problem may be that Tribune Media Services never received the updated information from KQFX. I am going to attempt an email to them to see if they can lend any insight.

    Please post all issues here and remember to note:

    * What receivers are affected: HR20-100 (2 units)
    * What market you're in: Dayton, OH
    * What zip code you're using to get guide data: 45385
    * What channels are affected: Channel 16.1 (was 16.6)
    * What's happening: Currently on 6/12 channel 16 PBS changed sub-channel 16.6 to 16.1 but after many antenna rescans DirecTv's guide data is still incorrect. DirecTv's guide still shows 16.6 with error 771 Searching for signal which is obvious.
    * The resolution of your issue, if any: I cannot convince DirecTv they have inaccurate guide data as they insist I have something wrong or I haven't re-scanned since 6/12.

    I finally gave up talking to DirecTv as it was like beating my head against the wall.

    * What market you're in: DMA #7 Boston/Manchester
    * What zip code you're using to get guide data: 03062
    * What channels are affected: WENH Channel 11 OTA (11-1, 11-2, 11-3)
    * What's happening: Early on 6/12 channel 11 PBS was not visible on the HR-20, but was just fine on the H20 and TV tuners. Channel 11 went all digital February 17th. The digital signal should still be on UHF channel 57 according to their 4/6/09 public filing, but the antenna part of their web site indicates it may have moved to the old analog 11 channel frequency. DirecTv's guide still shows 11.x with error 771 Searching for signal.
    * The resolution of your issue, if any: Waiting for the guide data to be updated.

    Local PBS -3 subchannel not available on HR20, after resetting off air settings. Only 18-1 and 18-2 show up. OTA receivers (sharp LCD) picked up 18-3 via a scan.

    Is there a way to force the HR-20 to do an actual scan, or are the local OTA's only available via the guide?

    HR20 (I have 2)
    * What market you're in

    * What zip code you're using to get guide data
    71602 (also tried 71602, 71603, 72203)
    * What channels are affected
    KETS (one of the PBS AETN network in Arkansas) Channels 2.1, 2,2, 2.3, 2.4
    * What's happening currently
    I DO receive program guide info on both DVRs, but I only receive the actual picture for 2.1 ONLY! BTW, I get a signal strength of 70-80% on all these channels, even though I only get a picture on 2.1.
    * The resolution of your issue, if any (such as, did rerunning Antenna Setup help)
    I have tried (multiple times, on both DVRs, without success) rerunning Antenna Setup, resetting via red reset button, resetting via menu, unplugging for >30 seconds then rebooting. All worked fine before KETS had to stop broadcasting earlier this year. They went digital on 6/12, and I received the stations okay briefly that night, but a t'storm knocked them off the air, and when they came back up, I had these problems. I emailed their engineer, but he was unaware of needing to contact Tribune. I emailed Tribune, but either they didn't want to bother or misunderstood my email, because all they replied was, "The satellites are only providing us with the analog channels (which are actually digital), and not the digital sub channels. We are in talks with them about this."

    What receivers are affected: HR20-700 fails, H20-100 works
    What market you're in: Greenville/Spartanburg
    What zip code you're using to get guide data: 29615
    What channels are affected: WYFF 4.1 and 4.2
    What's happening currently: I get guide data but 0% signal strength on HR20, 80% on H20 and TV tuner
    The resolution of your issue, if any (such as, did rerunning Antenna Setup help): Rerunning antenna setup fixed H20 but did not fix HR20. I noticed the call letters were different on the H20 and HR20, i.e., WSPA-WP on H20 is WSPADT2 on HR20.

    What receivers are affected: HR20-100 fails, H20-100 works
    What market you're in: Jackson, MS
    What zip code you're using to get guide data: 39157
    What channels are affected: WJTV CBS 12.1 and 12.2 and 12.3
    What's happening currently: WJTV moved from UHF 51 to VHF 12 and the HR20-100 no longer picks it up OTA. MY HD-Tivo rescanned and found the channels perfectly.

    Other Channels affected: WDBD FOX 40 - is now on UHF 40 - can get it fine on HD Tivo, will not come in on HR20-100.

    WUFX 35 - is now on UHF 41 - can get it fine on HD Tivo, will not come in on HR20-100.

    I have used the same antenna on both receivers and it is a UHF/VHF antenna.
    All channels worked fine on HR20-100 until the switchover.

    * HR20-700
    * New Orleans, LA
    * 70003
    * WNOL 38-1 Physical channel UHF 15
    * Intermittent 771 on 38-1. This channel was stable pre-transition and shared it's physical channel with WGNO 26-1. On June 12, 26-1 moved to physical channel UHF 26 and WNOL 38-1 remained on UHF 15 but upgraded from 480i to 1080i. Perhaps something in the database does not match what is in the OTA stream? This channel is stable on the TV tuner and tunes even when the HR20 signal meter reads Not Acquired.

    This just happened to us last night 08/07/09. We watched the local news at 5:00 and then the national news at 5:30. Just before 6 I turned to 47-1 and got 23-1 from Bakersfield. All of a sudden all the Fresno stations only showed 23-1 from Bakersfield and the Bakersfield stations that we normal get had the error searching for off-air signal. I reset the receiver (HR20-700) and got back all of the Fresno stations except 30-1. 30-2 and 30-3 both come in fine. Most of the Bakersfield stations also are working again. After a call to Directv the only advice I got from them was to disconnect the antenna and restart the receiver (which I had already done). I submitted an email to Directv about the problem but I'm not sure what else they can do. Any suggestions?

    Edited to add proper formatting like the other posts:

    What receivers are affected: HR20-700
    What market you're in: Columbia, SC
    What zip code you're using to get guide data: 29212
    What channels are affected: WIS 10-1 (NBC)
    What's happening currently: See below

    Someone with DirecTV who can check my local market's settings for 10-1,
    NBC, please read my thread located here:

    http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=162916

    Basically I believe the HR20 is being "told" that 10-1 is the old frequency
    they used to broadcast on. They switched their digital broadcast over to
    their old analog transmitter after it stopped being used for analog TV.

    Since the HR20 can't truly "scan" for channels, there's not much I can do.

    The resolution of your issue, if any: Nothing yet - guide data needs to be updated

    WIVT had been transmitting on digital channel 4 and then remapping it to 34, but they just installed a new transmitter and have switched to digital channel 34. Now when I enter 34 into my HR21s, they are still looking for the signal on 4. The OTA database info needs to be updated to show WIVT is now on digital channel 34.
