DirecTV app on iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

    No longer works at all. Have three DVRs (44 and two 24s). All connected to the Internet and Whole Home. Software updates were downloaded to all three early this morning. Location services "on" for the app. The app will not find any of my receivers, and indicates that I'm "Out of Home", even though I'm sitting right in front of the TVs!! Did a reset on the HR44, just to refresh the connection to all TVs. Logged out and back into the app, deleted and reinstalled twice, and did a forced reset on the phone. Nothing helped.

    Also noticed that Rewind no longer works on the 24s. A message displays saying that the functionality won't be available for three hours, but can watch them live. Same with the 44, but those shows that have Rewind are greyed out. I've never seen this before.

    Anyone know what the heck is going on? I can provide update versions if necessary. And what's up with the piece-of-crap app? It was working fine yesterday....

    Delete the app
    Download it again from Play store
    Be sure you are on home wifi, and log in

    Fixes a lot of problems

    I did all of that multiple times, and it was not the issue. Did troubleshooting with chat tech support for about an hour. I also rebooted my cable modem and router twice, and got one of the HR24s to come back online.Then I had a service call, and the technician was a network specialist. He spent an additional two (2) hours here troubleshooting. As it turned out, the problem actually is with the latest software update on my HR24s (0xa60). Apparently, each successive update on these receivers causes issues to crop up. Mine was not the only occurrence that he has seen. He had to swap out one of the HR24s, which is still running an old version. It remains to be seen what'll happen when it updates. He also reported these issues to engineering. At least for now, all receivers are connected to the Internet once again -- and show up on my DTV iPhone app.

    Go in to settings in the app and verify that the reciever IP addresses are there. If not, you need get the IP address for each receiver and enter them in to the app.

    If after you've done that you only see shows from one receiver, make sure that all are selected. The pull down might say that they are, but they might not be. Select all again.
