Just one DVR. I haven't been recording much and virtually nothing during the day or overnight.

I guess patience is the key here.:)

OK just downloaded for HR24-500. Black screen so far. Info banner says, "cinema test channel for Cutting Edge". That is all

Question for when/if a movie ever appears on my box ..... are these still "must watch within 24hrs of starting?"

Yes, the 24 hour window does apply to these movies.

Yeah I had to ditch Wolfman or pay again because I didn't watch it all the way through unfortunately. :(

Same here I didn't get to watch it all the way. I just didn't finish it figured they wouldn't reimburse me if I watched it twice.

I know it's not DirecTV's decision but it's a real lousy system. They should give it at least 72hrs. That's why I stopped buying PPV's. My attention span has grown very short as I got older and unless the movie is "super" I don't usually watch it in 1 sitting.

Back on topic, I FINALLY got my first movie. WooHoo! Alice in Wonderland. (Which was the very bottom one in my queue).
