I just saw Avatar show up on my playlist
+1. Avatar now listed in my playlist. Program info shows was recorded at 10:00 AM CDT today.
I just checked 1096 and Im only getting a Black screen
It's been down since last night.
Sorry Paul but we started this on the 30th if you remember. Some people recieved Wolfman by the 30th. I do recall though I never had that movie in my queue at all and it stated when I downloaded it and it was on sunday at 5am. Granted at that time both tuners where open but I tell u what I havent had a show to be recorded and the only move to come down was The Wolfman and Dear John. Take a look at the thread that lists what movies was watched from 1096.
I got nothin'
I don't think any of us do right now BUT try this...
Go to the Menu>Manage Recordings>Que>Programs. Go through the list and see if any of the movies are checkmarked, even if they aren't in your playlist.
Avatar was checkmarked earlier today and about 20 minutes ago it moved to the Playlist.
My ch 1096 now says currently not available.
As I posted in the issues thread, channel 1096 was down for a bit but should be back up and running now.
I've been doing that several times a day and nothin'.
It's coming, just not yet.
I am trying a menu>reset right now. Still not working as of this moment.
I noticed a charge on my bill for the wolfman purchase. Are we gonna get these taken off at the end of the trial? I had to pay the bill today. Made the payment but it still showed 5.99 on the bill.
Wow...Hail Mary...Avatar showed up in my QUE!!!!
Avatar showed up in my playlist just a couple of hours ago. Had the in-laws over for dinner, so I haven't had a chance to start watching it, but it did make it's way to me.
Back up here.
Yup, seeing it here too. Looks like categories are starting to work. I chose the HD category and it returned a whole bunch of results.
EDIT: There was also a bunch of movies in the Drama category this morning.
Did you fill out this form yet? Don't worry, we will make sure this gets corrected.
I just paid my bill minus the the movie charge.
My observations so far using two HR20-700s with Ox3e8 from 5/29 -
Added to queue yesterday
Edge of Darkness
From Paris with Love
The Book of Eli
Tonight showing green check mark against Wolfman and Avatar. Nothing added automatically to the playlist.
Selected Wolfman to play from All movies and it was added to the playlist showing available until 11/30. The movie ran for 15 mins on fast forward before asking me to confirm the purchase. Canceled purchase and tried to run again. This time asked immediately to confirm. I confirmed the movie and it started to play. I hit stop and was given the option to cancel PPV. I guess you can cancel viewing within n minutes? Nice if you have confirmed by mistake.
Confirmed purchase once again and showed up on combined playlist on second dvr. Canceled viewing again as it was ordered on 1096, but showed 9981 and wanted to check forum first. I'll watch it for real later. Be interesting to see if I only get billed once or three times
What seems odd to me (and sorry of this has been flogged to death elsewhere) is where and when movies show up. If you add a movie to your queue, what is the point of the green check mark if it should show in your playlist once it is available? Alternatively, if it is indicating it is ready to move to the playlist, that notification might be better if the movie was still listed in the queue with the green checkmark instead of mixed in with the full list.
Sub categories (comedy, drama) not populating yet.
Avatar showed up in my Queue today finally, so I'm up to two items. The Wolfman is in my Queue and on 1096 it shows as "Watch Now!" with the green check mark, but it does NOT show up in my Playlist with the green Q icon. It seems pretty plain that it's sitting ready on the Directv-reserved portion of my drive, but for the sake of consistency I think that since I specifically added it to my Queue, it should appear in my Playlist along with the others that had to be recorded at my direction.
