What happened to none of the movies coming over broadband yet?
None of the five I added this morning are available yet here.
Am I the only redheaded step child that doesn't get 1096 yet?
I've got 10 or so between 2 DVR's that I added Sat morning and none have showed up here either. Still early in the process yet, I'm not too worried about it.
I set a few DVRs to record content from 1096, not duplication anything.
My HR20-700 in our master bedroom has recorded "Dear John". This was recorded last night at 7:30pm, and being as it came unexpected I did not see if the record light was turned on, or see anything being "qued up" in a fashion I am used to.
I can say without a doubt this recording was set to record via 1096 at about 2pm today, and that means it had to happen within a 5 hour window.
In looking at the menu I see there is a drop down that gives me two choices :
-Keep until it expires, or keep until my disk is full.
I have several movies in that DVRs que, and as of right now there is no amber light nor a progress bar in my playlist.
I've got seven movies in my queue since yesterday. I tried to put Wolfman on the list but evidently it is already on the hard drive, recorded under the old push PPV system, and I'm not ready to watch it yet. I figure we'll be charged for those movies, which is OK since I planned to PPV it anyway.
No broadband here, everything has to come from the sats (unless they push it down the phone line!)
Evidently the ones that are common to the "current" DirecTV Cinema are. Remember also some movies are pre-downloaded to your drive in the reserved space. It seems Dear John is one you'll get fast because of the 14 ( 7 each on 2 boxes) Dear John is the only one showing up on both relatively quickly.
I added two more to my Queue today, Capitalism: A Love Story, and The Road.
Of the ones I added yesterday, only one is showing as available: Crazy Heart. It shows that it's on 1096, but I suspect it was simply recorded off one of the normal PPV channels.
I watched The Wolfman last night. The video was in 1080p on my HR20-700 and the video was excellent. I watched it on my Samsung 61 inch LED DLP. The sound was in Dolby Digital 5.1 and was also excellent and filled the room. There was no break up in either the sound or video. I added the movie to my queue on Friday and it became available sometime Sunday. I did notice that the channel was listed as D*9881. There is no channel 9881 on my guide or that I have access to. The entire process was very easy.
Still have these in my Q on HR20-700
Alice in Wonderland
Capitalism: A Love Story
Nothing to update yet. Still have things queued up.
Here's a 5 minute video of what I see today on HR20-700:
Same as all of mine.
BTW, Bill Maher?
I queued up three movies yesterday and they are still in the queue.
I don't expect anything to happen before tomorrow.
I put 34 movies in my queue to see if that would have an impact on more movies being ready to be played.
Yeah, I put them all in my qeue, and I still have only 3 on my machine so far...
Do the movies in the Q only appear in the play list after they're ready to watch?
Correct. The movies appear in the playlist with a green Q icon in front.
Just added 17 movies to my que, will see how it goes.
