Not really sure what we are actually testing. Maybe we are just testing putting the movies in queue. Cause if that was the case we are all doing that with no problem. I have yet to have any movie download and it's been what 3 days now? I have had movies that arnt waiting to be released and yet they still stay there in the queue doing nothing.

So you do not have Wolfman and Crazy Heart in your queue, but with a green checkbox indicating you can Play or Buy/Watch?

Not really. I assumed that if I selected 1096 I would see the list of movies that were eligible to queue up and that I would select a movie and then select "Add to queue" but that's not quite how it worked.

When I entered "1096" while in GUIDE and selected it what popped up was a Directv Cinema screen with CE and CE CINIMA and 3 TOP PICKs, "Avatar", "Edge of Darkness", and "Tooth Fairy". Non of these are the movies announced as the ones we could download at no charge.

I saw that a lot of people did queue some of these up and some were able to watch them but again these are not the movies we were told we should queue up.

I then began looking around under the "Directv Cinema" column and when I selected "All" I was able to search and find 2 of the permitted movies, "Boogie Man" and "The Stranger" listed as available on 1096. The 3rd "The Wolfman" had already been pushed to my HDD and was green checked and not listed as available on 1096.

I queued the 2 available 1096 movies up and they have been parked in the queue ever since.

So it was not as simple as selecting "1096" and then queuing up the movies.

Here is a couple of issues I just discovered, when a movie is recorded from my Queue it's added to the playlist with the green Q icon in front of it. However as soon as you select this title the Q icon is removed and replaced with the blue K (Keep until I delete). I would suggest putting the Q behind the title to be nearly the same as done on the current DurecTV Cinema pages. Also I noticed none of the titles that were recorded were listed as available on 1096 like it does with the other on Demand channels. The option to Add to Queue was still listed, if clicked it will claim it was added successfully but since it is already recorded never does.

I noticed that Crazy Heart had the "24" hour rental icon, unlike Wolfman which had no icon.

I also noticed Crazy Heart carried a rating of "G"

My wife is watching The Road. She says the volume is really low and had to turn it up more than usual. She said it wasn't a problem for Tooth Fairy or Dear John.
I know larry Flowers said earlier in this thread that the sound was fine so not sure what to make of it. Probably not a biggie but i figured i would post.

I do not have Wolfman or Crazy Heart in my queue but the only movie if I hit all on the menu that has a green checkmark is Wolfman. I never ordered it or added it to my queue either.

I have these movies in my queue

    Eaiser with Practice
    Percy Jackson and the Olympians
    Cheech and Chongs
    Rain Fall
    The Lovely Bones
    Streetballers
    Black Dynamite
    I Hope they Serve Beer
    The Stranger
    The Good Guy

I tried to add movies that where new and movies that have been out for a least six months. Nothing has been downloaded or anything. I am gonna select Dear John, Toothfairy and Wolfman as well as The Road and see if they download. Cause that is pretty much all I have seen people getting to come down.

I just clicked on The Wolfman and like I said above I never had this in my queue but at the bottom it says "This pay per view was recorded at 9:00a, Sun 5/30. The Program will be deleted if not viewed by Tue 11/30 7:00p." So I decided to hit play and it said TY for your purchase. I am gonna watch it now even though I could care less to watch it but the sound and video quality is superb. I still would love to see the other movies I have actually selected be added to my playlist and be watchable. Wolfman is now added to my Playlist and does have a K next to it and says it was from channel 9981 *DTV and it expires 11/30.

I also saw this with a green checkmark. I was going to add this one because this was listed as being one that available on 6/1 but the option to queue it was not there.

I did add the other two: "Boogie man" and "The Stranger" to my queue. I now have 5 entries in the queue.

I selected to to play and it now shows up on all of my receivers via MRV. I also used the form to say that I did play it and which receiver it came in on.
My two HR24's still do not have any thing listed. I received 0x3e0 via a push to both of my HR24's last night 6/1.

I went back in and added a lot of movies to my queue over 24 movies total to see what comes down. I woke up this morning and looked at my play list nothing was added. I decided to check the DTV Cinema queue and notice it said 23 out of 24. I didn't have anything in my play list of movies I added to the queue so I clicked on the queue and noticed Dear John was missing. I went back to my play list and there it is with a Q next to it.

This definitively needs to be fixed it should automatically be added to the play list after it downloads. Or even better yet I think there should be some notification to let us know how many movies where downloaded and was now available. I like how when we update our receivers once we hit the guide button it automatically takes us to a screen and gives us info on what was updated and what features it added. Maybe they could do this and list which movies was added to the play list. Considering some downloads wont be available until a certain date as you may forget that you added it to your queue.

Ignore my previous posts. I'm a numb skull. I didn't know WTF I was doing and totally misinterpreted the directions.

Now that I figured out how to use this it works fine so far from the aspect of getting selections into the queue.

One selection, "Dear John", was downloaded to my HDD at 8 am today and appears in the PLAYLIST.

My only concern at this point is the length of time between entering a selection in queue and the download. I can understand a delay if the selections are not available.

Running the keyword search sets a flag in the software that 1096 requires before being visible.

How is either post contrary to each other?
This post explains what running the keyword search is doing to turn the feature on.

I selected The Tooth fairy from 1096. Contrary to the initial indications that 1096 will not DL via the internet, it has downloaded via the internet. Not sure if it is an issue or not, but it is in the play list to be viewed.
