    Issue:
Channel 1096 "Top Picks" isn't working correctly.

Description: On channel 1096, the "Top Picks" section of the menu shows "Lovely Bones" highlighted white and the only program that you can move the curser to is "Men Who Stare at Goats".

I see it on both receivers.

I believe the problem dates back to the 1st week of the trial.

HISTORY log indicates that "Edge of Darkness" was recorded at 9:00 am today but it wasn't reflected in the PLAYLIST until around 11:00 am. I was looking at the PLAYLIST and had just deleted a PLAYLIST entry and noticed the "% Free" drop from 77% to 76% instead of increase due to the deleted recording when a new PLAYLIST entry for "Edge of Darkness" popped up at the top.

Added Alice In Wonderland to the queue at around 11:00 CDT this morning. It never showed up in the playlist so I just checked history. It is shown as deleted with the following message:

"This showing was canceled because of an unexpected error. (1016/0/)"

Issue found... Now that the viewer has control of what movies are pushed the guide banners for on Demand are non functional with an error message (Program not currently available) unless the particular movie was in the DVRs queue and recorded from 9981.

    Report #20100512-B1A

Cleared my queue and added Edge of Darkness and found it to be immediately available.

Went through the watch/buy steps, confirmed, was thanked by my TV screen, but nothing happened.

Reading the description again, it says I won't be charged until I tune to the PPV channel to watch it. Attempting to tune *9981 or hitting play in the asset menu don't do anything.

Alice in Wonderland is in the Playlist of my HR21-100 but is not visible on any other machine via MRV.

It does show a Q next to the title so I started playing it and the Q changed to a K as expected. However, it still doesn’t show up in the play list via MRV. Everything on the HR21 recorded after Alice in Wonderland is visible but the movie is not.

We currently watch almost everything via MRV on our HR24. I didn’t know it was there until I checked the HR21-100.

    Mike

Edit: AAMOF, I can't see any on the downloaded test movies via MRV. I currently have two waiting to be watched on the HR21 (Alice in Wonderland & Edge of Darkness) and one on the HR24 (Shutter Island) and I can't see any of these via MRV. They appear only in the local Playlist.

Agree but it shouldn't be shown as "RECORDED" at 9:00 am if it isn't actually fully recorded until 11:00 am.

Wrote report key down and can't tell if 3rd character in last 4 is an A or a 4

Watched "Edge of Darkness" and again had to crank audio level up more than 2 times the normal setting to get acceptable audio volume. The video was fine.

On my HR22-100 and HR20-700, Alice in Wonderland has been downloaded. In the list for both, when that movie is highlighted, the description says

"You've set a limit of 5 Programs from the Queue that can appear in the Playlist at one time. Watch, keep, or delete this program to remove it from your limit."

If I select the movie, the description appears correctly as a description of the movie. While you may want to put the Queue information somewhere, I don't think the short description on the list screeen is the appropriate place for this info.

Parental information is not shown on the info screen, but only on the Parental tab. This is inconsistent with shows recorded off of a channel, where there is an age rating on the info screen.

(Keeping it all on the Parental tab may be a better place for this info, but either way, it should be consistent.)

Watched "The Book of Eli" today and still have the problem with the volume level. Had to crank it up by over 100% of normal setting to get adequate audio. Video was fine.

    "When In Rome"

Excellent video, great movie... but my first experience with an audio problem. Normal high volume on my system "28", for this movie was set to "40".

    HR24-500 and HR22-100.
Both have 2012 and Planet 51 in que since first day, and still havent gotten them, even though others have gotten 2012. HR24 doesnt have anything scheduled to record, so it shouldnt be tied up. Did get Avatar a couple weeks ago on the HR22, but that was it.
