Hello guys, I am new here. Is there any chart where I can find the frequencies per transponder for all the DirecTV satellites?.

    Thanks much

I work with a meter that does not have the channel plans for DirecTV but allows you to edit them on the computer and add them, so I would like to add the DirecTV transponder frequencies to it. Could you please lead me to the information?... I would very much appreciate.

    Thanks!

Actually I would need the exact frequencies for each transponder along with the LO used in each case to convert it from the downlink frequency... maybe I am reading this wrong?

As I said before, this is to be able to program the channel plan in the meter I am using. Thanks for your help!

So... would this chart be correct? (attachment)

Also, what about the Ka satellites?

And, are there stacking LNBs like in the case of Dish?

    Thanks!

veryoldschool... that surely helps. If I only could find out also the exact frequencies per transponder I'd be all set!

    Thanks much

See posts related to D10/D11 launches - there you will find links to FCC documents with TP plan/freqs.

    Los...
    While I don't have the center freqs. for the Spaceways unfortunately, here's what I have from my records for everything else anyway;

    DirecTV 10 and 11
    ------------------------
National + Hawaii transponder center freqs. all on Ka B-band:

    Tp. 1, 2 18.324 GHz
    Tp. 3, 4 18.364 GHz
    Tp. 5, 6 18.404 GHz
    Tp. 7, 8 18.444 GHz
    Tp. 9, 10 18.484 GHz
    Tp. 11, 12 18.524 GHz
    Tp. 13, 14 18.564 GHz

    Spotbeam Transponder center freqs.

    Tp. 15, 16 18.604 GHz
    Tp. 17, 18 18.648 GHz
    Tp. 19, 20 18.692 GHz
    Tp. 21, 22 18.732 GHz
    Tp. 23, 24 18.776 GHZ

    DirecTV 12
    -------------------------
National + Hawaii transponder center freqs. on Ka A-Band.

    Tp. 9, 10 19.890 GHz
    Tp. 11, 12 19.930 GHz
    Tp. 13, 14 19.970 GHz
    Tp. 15, 16 20.010 GHz
    Tp. 17, 18 20.050 Ghz
    Tp. 19, 20 20.090 GHz
    Tp. 21, 22 20.130 GHz
    Tp. 23, 24 20.170 GHz

DirecTV-12's Spotbeam Transponder center freqs. are the same as for DirecTV-10, 11 listed earlier.

For all transponders, Odd = RHCP, even = LHCP

For the older legacy DBS Ku band transponder center freqs. see here:

    http://www.lyngsat.com/dtv101.html

And International at 95W see here under the "DirecTV USA" listing:

Hi again. I have tried to compile all this info in the charts attached. Would you be so kind to review them and see if they make any sense?

    Thanks a lot.

    Los...
Looks good so far, but I'll keep studying. Thanks for all the work compiling this.

    Also BTW if LyngSat is accurate the Spaceway ~62.5 MHz bandwidth transponder center frequencies for 99(s) and 103(s) are;

    Tp. 1, 2 19.741 GHz
    Tp. 3, 4 19.804 GHz
    Tp. 5, 6 19.866 GHz

    http://www.lyngsat.com/dtv103.html

So you may want to add these as well, though with DirecTV-12 at 103 and eventually the future DirecTV-14 satellite which will likely go to 99, at least some of the Spaceway channels must be vacated to make room for their Ka A-band CONUS channels.

For instance Spaceway 1 at 103 has only one active transponder now that DirecTV-12 is in operation.

Note: Actually transponders 7 and 8 at 99(s) and 103(s) are technically allocated to the Spaceways as well, but are unused and have no actual frequency assignments that I'm aware of.

    Thanks much

So The LOs for those extra xpndrs would be the same in each orbital? I don't mind if the xpndrs come from various sats in the same position, but would like to cover what actually does come down from every orbital. The way I want to arrange the channel (actually xpndr) plan is by orbital position.

Feel free to complete the spreadsheet if you want, maybe between all we will be able to get an accurate and complete list!

Thanks again for bearing with me on this.
