If that was the case, we would have seen this channel go into test in previous years. We didn't. I think it is reasonable to assume there are negotiations going on that are going well enough Directv has put the channel into test. Yes, they can pull it without ever making it live as they did with Pac 12, but AFAIK that's the only case I know of where they did that. So odds are good this channel will be added to Directv by the end of the month. Maybe Sinclair's travails with the former FSN channels caused Spectrum to re-evaluate their opinion of the value of the network, and are willing to cut Directv a better deal than they've offered in the past?
