Yes, It can DUMB YOU DOWN!!!
I can Predict Better than Swanni but then again I am a Psychic!!!
His site has that affect on anyone who goes there.
The ones wanting channels like Military Channel are hilarious. Maybe they just don't know, but DirecTV can't exactly pull a miracle and offer a channel in HD that isn't capable of it.
BTW, Whatever happened to Pentagon HD? Not that it would matter to myself, but it seemed to have been pushed back.
Waste of bandwidth. It's available free to anyone with an internet connection.
I would love BBCA in HD or TCM HD
I would too but I don't see it happening in the near future.
Well I was hoping to see a Sixto report about something new going up in test today but looks like I'll have to keep hoping.
I noticed 1 HD-PPV disappeared today.
I believe AMC went to "test" on a Monday and live on Wednesday or something along those lines.... these "tests" mean that the beans are spilled, and more and more they seem to be hell-bent on not giving up *any* information.
Is Dish the same way with information? Cable companies don't seem to be, they often announce new channels a month ahead of time, although sometimes that is by law.
FS San Diego website went "live" a week ago or so. Not much there yet, but from what I read in the media.... this station will launch early march.
I still think it is the perfect candidate for a "partial HD" scenario: Games in HD, all other programming in SD.
Yep, nothing interesting today. 135 did go from "live" to test (*CINEHD) but that has happened alot lately, and it's on D10.
I don't to we will see anything but games period. I don't expect a sd version at all except during games. But who knows. I have a feeling the infrastructure is not yet in place for this channel to be carried full time by DirecTV.
DirecTV and AMC HD:
Test date was Friday, Sept. 2, 2011. Launch date was Friday, Sept. 9. 2011.
This converging over to HD ONLY is going pretty slowly. With everyone today demanding they only want the newest stuff, how are stations still broadcasting so much SD?
Call and ask how soon they're going to release all of their HD programming.
Agree. Pardon my french, but I'm going to be very upset if the only new HD channels we get in 2012 are more f**ing sports channels. No offense to those of you who watch sports, but there are others of us who don't, who have been waiting for a long time for some additions.
I would be happy with some more HD VOD
I sure hope H2 is coming soon in HD, seems the History channel moved all their good programing over to there.
Are you serious
