Will these new HD channels be available on iPad/iPhone live streaming?
Thanks a lot for all of the information that you provide, especially since it is on your own time and not as a representative of the company. You are certainly an invaluable member of the forum. Thanks again.
It's strange that they're showing the current schedule. The last time they showed up early on the app, they would show the schedule beginning when they were set to go live.
But, since we know they're coming tomorrow, it doesn't really matter.
Nice to see HD tags already there on programming available in HD for all 3 channels in the iPhone app unlike ION east HD...
LMNHD will be turned on with an SD film airing (assuming 6am ET), BTW for those not aware LMNHD stretches all 4:3 films.
TV Land HD will be turned on with an SD program airing (assuming 6am ET).
IDHD will turned on with an HD show airing (assuming 6am ET).
I hope that's not a complaint!!:sure:
You asked about wave two earlier and this was his response:
I hope tonight is the last time I have to watch ID, in SD.
Nothing is simple when it comes to satellite television. It is, after all, rocket science.
Thank heavens it's not brain surgery... they miss by a few inches and we'll have more lobotomized posters.....
There's a whole lot more to the PAC-12 networks than football and basketball. They have some excellent coverage of volleyball and I saw some very exciting water polo matches last fall. This week they're showing lots of hoops as well as track, golf, gymnastics, wrestling, swimming and diving from 2012. PAC-12 is a whole lot more interesting than Root Sports around these parts.
I realize that you're likely going to denigrate the other sports because that's what is dictated by the apologist manifesto but I'd rather watch volleyball and sit through a syndicated sports rehash of how such and such basketball or football team didn't show up.
LMNHD, IDHD & TVLand HD all live! I watched it instantly in the Guide change it was right on the dot as soon as the clock said 6:00am. The call sign instantly added HD to the end and that was it!
Good. Now we can anticipate wave 2.
Glad to have them!
One DVR and one receiver have logos for all three. The third has none.
Don't be silly. Those don't move the needle. Name me one channel driven by volleyball and water polo.
The fact is that the time when the PAC 12 network has the most leverage is the beginning of football season. Second is basketball. The rest is good stuff but icing on the cake. DirecTV nor anyone else is going to be driven to add the channel for gymnastics.
LMN HD my mom is all smiles now
Always nice to see new HD added. Theres a few in this batch of 8 I've been wanting.
I'm still waiting for
Oh Harsh, you make it so easy. The sports and events you mentioned don't drive viewership unless they are Olympic or Olympic qualifiers. By far...by far, the two most popular televised collegiate sports are basketball and football. The point being that a network like PAC-12 is at is peak, in regards to attractiveness to viewers and potential providers, during or just before those seasons. The upcoming lull in their premier programming is not their strongpoint.
There is something to be said for Pac 12 womens volleyball.
