I'm still waiting on CSN-NW and the Pac-12 Networks. National + RSN would work for me.
For me I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Mine would be:
Fox Movie Channel
Any remaining Premium Channel
I dont know that this really counts or not, but I would like to see:
The Longhorn Network
I won't hold my breath...
+1, PQ is fantastic! Great additions Thanks Directv!
Over the past 2 weeks, everyone got at least one desired channel in HD!
I no longer have anything I record in SD but would like next (not in order):
I always welcome more movie channels and more sports.
Bottom of the barrel...here we come.
Thanks Satelliteracer...............for all your info.
I would like to see Sportsman Channel and the Outdoor Channel added in HD.
serious question... what are we going to do now??? we're running out of channels to hope for.
Lets get the Military Channel in HD and I will be a happy camper - then take care of some of the SD channels we don't get.
HLN in HD = sweet! So long overdue and very welcomed addition from Directv. This may sway me to keep Directv after my 2yr commit is over.
As a soccer/football/futbol fan, I agree. It sucked after GolTv and Fox Deportes were removed from the Sportspak. If HD versions of Fox Deportes, ESPN Deportes and GolTv were added to the Spanish Package, I'd add the Spanish package, even though no one in my house speak Spanish - but i do speak futbol/gooooooollll And Fox Deportes and GolTv do have SAP in English - not sure about ESPN Deportes, as I've never subscribed to it.
In NYC Metro, Telemundo, WNJU, channel 47, is on HD on Directv.
BBC World News in HD or even SD would be good.
Other than these Sports channels in Spanish and BBC World News, my main HD needs were satisfied last year when BBCA in HD was added. And Robin Meade in HD, that's a sight for my eyes Now I'm just welcoming whatever new HD channels are added.
Time for a new poll?
+1 - I forgot about this one in my post. Military History Channel HD would be good, too!
They are of interest to me, and yes, high def public events are far better than blurry public events if that's what you like to watch. Just like the Cooking Channel.
Thanks - appreciate the perspective. We'll keep trying to give you good stuff to esca...er...work with.
It's good to finally have HLN HD! It was one of the last channels that I watched in annoying SD.
Yes, we've talked about it but were waiting for this big launch.
I don't want to get the whole "talking heads" thing started again...
However... my point was that they have some of the best name recognition of the channels left hanging...
The bottom of your barrel maybe.
Everybody please be tolerant of other members choices of HD channels.
Still quite a bit out there I'd like to see. Both EPIX and WealthTV would be nice, but of the channels Directv already carries in SD I'd like Hub, Fox Sports Ohio and Cincinnati, Sundance, and Fuse.
