I don't think directv or San Diego are in Florida.
Yep, and Flix, and Reelz.
I really want more spanish channels to be in HD, we only have 3. i dont count the twc since im not a laker fan. Bring back goltv, add bein ñ. Fox Deportes and Espn Deportes have a lot of different sports too Not only soccer. I guess im not that happy for the addition of univision deportes because im not mexican
Flix doesn't exist in HD
I'd welcome any new HD channels, but I really have pretty much everything I watch in HD now.
What I would really like is for some of the channels we have in HD now to add HD content to their on demand channel.
I mean the locals, Bravo, USA, etc.
This will not happen until fox turns the channels to the new sports networks fox 1 and 2. NBC is getting the European football staring next season.
Thanks for the confirmation SR!
Still hoping for FMC as part of the "more after that"!
CSN Houston (unless the idiots at Comcast are actually trying to extort upwards of $3.40/subscriber for what amounts to a channel broadcasting a mediocre basketball team, a historically losing baseball team, and a who-cares-about-it soccer team).
I hope you do better with your Comcast RSN then we up here inOregon have done with Comcast Sports NortWest. Comcast is pretty much asking for an amount that would normally be charged for a channel with greater content and popularity.
If I never see or hear the words" we are still in negotiation" anymore . it will still be one time too many.
I think the channel is somewhat new, but in any event, upgrading the broadcast is anticipatory!
Started looking at some rugby on 490. The picture is terrible. It is 16:9, but it's been altered from something else: players are too squat. The picture is very soft and washed out. It's not as bad as some SD, but almost. It says "HD" but if it's taking up the normal bandwidth of HD, it's a waste.
whatever happen to muchmusic? are they still around?
CHUM sold their half MuchMusic USA to Rainbow (Cablevision) in 2000, eventually Cablevision started dropping most of Much's programming until they only aired 90 minutes of it a day in 2002. CHUM then stripped them of the license in 2003 after they stopped airing it completely and it's now Fuse.
MuchMusic has changed a lot since then and is now under new ownership making them a sister station to MTV Canada. Outside of a morning music video block, RapCity, The Wedge, Video on Trial, NewMusicLive and the MMVAs most of the content they now air is the scripted shows from MTV, several CW shows, Degrassi, a few ABC Family shows and some syndicated content like Fresh Prince, Malcolm in the Middle and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Fuse has since entered in a new partnership with Much where Fuse gets the MMVAs, the rights to some Live@Much events, The Wedge (which they since cancelled) and Video on Trial (which they since dropped and replaced with an American version), while MuchMusic gets some of Fuse's content like Billy on the Street and their concert series.
Did you try 490-1 for the rugby? That's the HD feed.
The pic of the 1080i raw backhaul - for me - is the absolute best of any programming on DirecTV.
French league and the German Cup is also on it.
Do you have to be French or German to watch?
You can watch Bundesliga on GolTV, and the french league on Bein
Well, that's possible! I thought I recorded the channel mentioned earlier but perhaps not. .... OK, just went to History, and you nailed it- I had 490, not 490-1....
Right now, nothing is showing up for the next several days....
You're in for a nice surprise when you record the HD feeds!
The next round of matches starts Friday morning at 01:30 EST.
2 matches Friday morning, 4 Saturday morning, and 1 Saturday night.
The Guide usually does not usually start to populate the matches until Wednesday.
Nothing wrong with keeping the ladies happy too.
Even though we know what games are being played it is always great to SEE them on the guide. You are correct HD is WAY! Better than SD matches.
