Dish does several sub-chAnnes nationwide, Grit, GetTV, MeTV. Uverse carries H & I.

There is no reason that DTV can't do the same.

DISH is carrying one feed nationally for METV and other channels. Carrying the individual sub-channels for each market is where DISH and DIRECTV would run out of bandwidth. I am glad DISH was able to work out a one feed contract but it cannot be helping the local affiliates.

They probably CAN, but the main reason driving cord cutting these days is the cost of cable/satellite packages so they're going to think real hard before adding anything because it will just mean more cost to pass onto their customers. I wouldn't hold my breath.

metv, gettv, grit, h&I as well as epix would be awesome additions. I don't see it happening. I knew epix was on dish but didn't know the others were.... I see a switch to dish in my near future.... agreement is up may 9th if I'm not mistaken.

They black-out markets where the channels are already included in local packages, I can't imagine Dish pays anything for the channels, but gives them big audiences for their ads as payment.

Available via satellite as a local channel or available via satellite on the national channel. It isn't blocked out where the local version isn't via satellite.
The channel is not commercial heavy. The satellite version is ahead of my local OTA. The last break had a weather update and promo for local news on the OTA version and a typical commercial on the national feed (nothing DISH specific). The national commercials match the local feed except for the ads the OTA channel added.

I would like subchannel networks on directv
They might only add metv because its the most popular
    If they do

If they add one they'll have people wanting a dozen more.

    Phoenix,...
Stadium was added to my old school Apple TV. I noticed it’s one of the subchannels in Phoenix.

Yeah, Stadium is one of those channels that streams their linear feed online for free like Comet, which really lessens their chances of ever being picked up unless they want to pay for their place on the lineup.
