While both are very true for business models, subscriber churn is also taken into account. Some churn is acceptable as long as projections are met. It almost seems the current direction won't change unless churn increases beyond their projections. Sadly, that leaves some disappointed because there's little value perceived in our patronage, if this is true. I don't know this, but IMO, there may be little to no new HD national channels added until model projections are proven wrong by a sudden spike in sub churn. I am certain that is monitored closely and would be remedied rather quickly before a mass exodus started.
