Now go away, or I shall Demand it a second time!
MAVTV is in HD only on Dish.
OMG ,channel 515 and 523 now is the same channel, the only difference 515(SAP) and 523 is in Spanish ,but is the same thing .
Cinemax rebranded some of their channels:
@MAX is now MAX Latino, basically their equivelent of HBO Latino
WMAX is now MovieMAX, showing family friendly movies
According to SR in the MAVTV thread, it will only be in SD. Hopefully, we can expect the HD version in the not to distant future.

I guess no one noticed (sixto) Cinemax Latino, replaced @Max, And Movie Max replaced WMAX!
Have they changed on the receivers and if so, when?
The DirecTV website guide is updated (although there is no logo for Movie Max and the Univision logo is used for Cinemax Latino).
so unless we speak Spanish we have lost a movie channel option. maybe now we can get outermax
how is that direcTV fault? Cinmax rebrand the channel, direcTV kinda own us nothing
Checked yesterday morning, didn't check this morning. Will check in the morning.
Yep ... http://www.dbstalk.com/topic/163524-sixtoreport-directv-national-hd-listing/page-78#entry3142621
My last hold out has to be EPL extra time whenever NBC Sports Live Extra is added onto Directv.
never said it was anyones fault. its just a statement.
:nono2: What difference does it make whos fault it is? Point was we lost a channel and right away someone has to jump on the Directv defense band wagon. Shesh!!!!
I think Reelz is on the agenda because there was a commercial for some show on Reelz and the commercial was crystal clear along with the logos and everything saying the directv channel number. Otherwise it would be false advertising and they would have to show the commercial pillarboxed and 480 up converted. It was custom to DirecTV because they said the channel number and even at the end it was on the graphic.
For DirecTV and Reelz to come together and advertise the programming maybe means they are going HD this year?
Sports Mix 205, 600 is now in HD!
one world sports in hd or sd until they broadcast in hd would be my biggest want.
I do not understand your logic. If the commercial was on the Reelz channel, then it could not have been shown on DirecTV in HD. If the commercial was on another channel, it would be shown by DirecTV in the format and resolultion in which that channel is broadcast on DirecTV. There is no "false advertising" involved. This happened all of the time with the Scripts networks when HGTV would show commercials for DIY or Food Network would show commercials for Cooking Channel. The commercials would be in HD because HGTV and Food Network were in HD, but DIY and Cooking Channel were not in HD at that time. Unless the commercial specifically stated that the show would be in HD on DirecTV, then it was not false advertising regardless of the format of the commercial.
The commercial was on Food Network. Wouldn't they just pillarbox and show a lower quality clip from Reelz? If they don't have rights to show it in HD quality, wouldn't that be a breach of contract? I've seen plenty of low quality commercials on HD channels before.
I think DirecTV has rights to the content and it will just be matter of time to procure the equipment and bandwidth to launch it.
