They could I think there is still an open space in The Cinemax channel area.
Reelz already has a channel spot, So if they added an HD version I think it would stay where it is in the Line up.
What test channels did he find?
From the channel numbering change announcement: "Your DVR settings (Season passes, etc.) as well as Favorite Channels feature should not be impacted."
Note: If you are someone who utilizes the CCHAN keyword in your auto-records, make sure that you won't be affected.

^ This is true. Chs. 512 to 514 are post-HBO screens. Chs. 518 and 524 are empty slots for Cinemax screens. ^
I was at Wikipedia.org's site, and here is a link to cable-television programming, from the United States, concerning premium-movie networks…
I'm inclined to consider the newly establishing slots between chs. 558 to 563 enough to place Epix (and all four of its screens). It's also enough for FEARnet. And it is enough, around Encore, to consider the expansion of the expected MoviePlex, IndiePlex, and RetroPlex in the channel ranges of the 530s and 540s.
This doesn't mean it's all coming; but, then again, why do some remapping (with Hallmark Movie Channel, going to ch. 565, still first in sequential order)—effective [Wednesday,] 07.31.2013—if this is not the intent of DirecTV?
is the search box broken ?
DIRECTV HD Channel Anticipation (Official Q3-13 Thread)
as a search doesn't bring anything up. Glad i found this an other way but search box from the home page is bringing 0 results..
disregard i saw on the search options on the left you can screen your search even if it yields 0 results.. soon as i checked off forums I found you guys..
so after a long hiatus...I have returned...game on !!
check his thread. there were 4 channels marked as test.
Re: channel changes
I know it doesn't relate to the July 31 changes, but I wonder where they are going to put FXX. It would be weird to leave it in the 600s, but there are no available numbers in the 200s.
I really, really hope we get this channel. I can't miss Sunny.
259 just became available due to Cinemoi not paying their bill, and they have moved infomercial channels before to make room. Channel 219 used to be an infomercial channel before MavTV was added, that infomercial channel was moved to channel 310.
Fox Soccer/FXX will likely move, however there's no guarantee that Speed/Fox Sports 1 along with Fuel/Fox Sports 2 will move right away or at all. It took about a year before NBC Sports Network moved to the 200s after the change from Versus, and CBS Sports Network is still in the 600s.
Over in the other thread, http://www.dbstalk.com/topic/206454-prem-channel-location-changes-731/page-2 SR said a new channel and movement of other channels into that space. We'll find out in a few weeks. So nothing more concrete can be said about it yet.
"A new channel" sounds like 1, so apb as good as your guesses were, I guess that's not it!
fxx will be on 249 and comedy centralwill move to ch 250
Doubtful that the 9xxx test stuff has anything interesting, most likely just the usual special events or private channels.
Or Maybe FXX, if its picked up, will end up in the hd extra pack and in hd only in the 500s? You never know! That could be the compromise for picking up FS1.
maybe WWE Network as an premium channel
or maybe move FXM to HD only
4 more test channels put up today. Hope Doctor J can do an analysis.
Chs. 558 to 563 (whatever exact order): Lifetime Movie Network HD; AMC HD; Turner Classic Movies HD; and Fox Movie Channel.
Two more slots would remain.
And, yes, this would be … lame.
FXX is going to be on 619 (HD/SD) (old Fox Soccer slot in the sports range). This info is from Wikipedia which we all know is the summary of all knowledge. :rolling:
