Maybe SEC Network and ESPN Goal Line?
They keep realigning channels, wouldn't that mean we should be getting some new HD sooner than later?

FoxDeportes HD and Telemundo HD Channel 406 your up next!
Git R Done Directv baby...
And GolTV HD! Bundesliga, Eredivisie, Argentina first choice game, one Brazilian Serie A game, Peñarol and Nacional games from Uruguay, and a Mexican liga de ascenso game every week. Plus international friendlies. You could make a strong argument that it's even more important than ESPN Deportes and Fox Deportes. (At least when it's not Copa Libertadores season.) Fox Deportes and Gol TV in HD and I'm done as far as live channels. Then my only wish is to improve the HD on demand choices. That was the only advantage of comcast over DTV. Pretty much any TV show was available on demand in HD.
Yep,we could also use Fox OnDemand and hope that Directv and the programmers can make the content HD and next day air like they do with cable,or at the very least 48 hr delay and that would make the OnDemand section sweet.
More HD coming soon or end up this year,I think 2 more. What time put espndHD today, not 6 am?

it's weird they did it on a monday,, i have been checking in the app and did'nt see the the channel coming
correction, Goltv has the rights to all the river plate and boca juniors games, home and away, TyC Sports has the rest
i like the 4:3 safe on hd channels.. feels like i'm watching "more"
Not anymore. That was when River was in second division, so GolTV got the rights separately. Now, GolTV plays the first choice Argentine match per week, generally Boca or River but it could be a different one late in the season when they are no longer in contention, which appears to be the case this season (again). This week, GolTV showed Estudiantes-Boca and TyC showed River-Colon (as well as all other eight Argentine league matches -- seven live and one on delay.) TyC also shows two Primera B Metropolitano (regionalized third tier) matches per week. One on Saturday (before the primera games) and one on Tuesday.
ha, ok i had an outdated information. i should have noticed when i watched the river-colon on tyc sports i guess :hurah:
For the Spanish package folks,I was looking at Directv Puerto Ricos site and they have De Pelicula,Puerto Rico TV,Wapa2 Deportes and Telesur in their line up...
So I e-mailed D* quick requesting those channels be made available to us in the US.
So at the very least, let us have De Pelicula since thats a national channel that can be found on other cable and sat services..
If they are available in Puerto Rico, they are probably coming from a spot beam or from the 110 satellite. While it might be possible for DirecTV to obtain the rights to transmit these in the US, it might not be feasible to do so.
Der Fußball-Bundesliga should be broadcast auf Deutsch
Just wondering if we're done with any more HD additions this year? I'm starting to think so, as it's been so quiet for some time now.
Quiet in this thread does not really have anything to do with what DirecTV is doing, but the fourth quarter traditionally has been slow, so if there is nothing new in September, I would agree that there is likely not going to be anything new until February, 2014.
Is Feb/2014 the time frame for the new satellite to be up and running?
I read on bigsoccer.com that ESPN Deportes HD went live today, but I don't get the Spanish package to check. It would make sense because ESPN added ESPNEWS and ESPN Deportes to WatchESPN today.
It went live on Monday:
Directv techs will probably put all their attention on NFL ST Sat. feeds for the remainder of the year.
So I'am hoping for Fox Deportes HD and Telemundo HD to make the end of the year cut before the year closes.
I also would like to see Fox On Demand with next day air added and Watch ESPN APP for Directv Subs...
Also, I want to see a Prime Time Now section in the Genie Recommends (TV Show area ) ...
That is my Christmas list...
It would make sense now to but Goltv back in HD. They have espn n bein sports in HD. It doesn't make sense. Does Directv have a red zone channel that you don't have to order Sunday ticket to watch. Like dish n Verizon

I do not think the new satellite will be up and running until early third quarter 2014 - just in time for the launch of the SEC network.
