Keep an eye on www.whpattersonjr.com I'm sure it'll be announced there in advance if it happens.
I've only had my service for a few days but (E!) is the only channel of the ones I watch that isn't in HD.
The only times I'm really interested in programming on LMN is when they have Christmas movies on around the holiday. Though there's occasionally a decent movie on the channel from time to time during the rest of the year, most are fatal when viewed by men.
I don't care for "Reality TV", so I can't say that...
...but I REALLY enjoy the TV show "Drop Dead Diva".... to which I have Series Links for. I also enjoy some of the Syndicated programming on the channel as well, and it too shows Christmas movies around the holidays, so it was one of the few additions this year that I'm glad we got (Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel, and EncoreHD being the others).
This would be great! If i could only have one it would be Nat Geo Wild!!!
That list has every channel I've been hoping for. Though I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed with IFC HD. It was originally in my Sixto Top 10 list but I have now seen it on Time Warner and everything is stretched. As far as I can tell they show almost no HD on that channel.
I agree. Nice list!
I agree and the fact is that there is absolutely no reason given what most of us pay D* every month that we do not have all of them by now. All of these stations should be ecstatic that someone is paying them a few extra cents for HD. As an example I do an enormous amount of work on my house and am addicted to DIY stuff but watch less and less DIY network because I can't get it in HD.
Me too. I've read everything that he's every written (even a couple of non-fiction). I named my son after him (Anson from his middle name). Would love to see this also.
Style HD would be cool too.
BBC America and E! are 2 HD channels I'm going to miss in my switch from E*.. even if it was "HD-lite"
"Some say...that you can count the nose hairs protruding from Captain Slow's nose.. or that you can read the dial on Hamster's over size wristwatch... All we know is, I want my Top Gear in HD!!"
indeed I did
Alright, the first draft of the channel lineup comparison has been posted. The link to it is in my signature. Feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks. Looks pretty good to me.
It may surprise you to hear this, but good job!
Given the layout of the information, I think some credit might be due to a certain individual, but other than that... good job!
I'd give credit to an AVS member, but that person's decisions to skew the data to their liking rubbed me the wrong way.
Not sure what that's about, but good job.
I guess you mean URFloorMatt over @ AVS
Imagine if it were in HD! How would you get any work done?
Well, we wouldn't need this version if he had bothered to include all the information over there. He chose to the skew the data to his liking and has ignored input. Our version here will be a collaborative effort and will include as much information as possible.
That is correct!
Though I'm not discussing the issue anymore, I still find URFloorMatt's list to be the "definitive" list for channel availability across providers... and given the similarities in look of the list, I felt a nod should be given, but it's really none of my business, and I'm going to stay out of the matter from now on.
For a comparison list between the two satellite companies, I felt Hoosier205 did a VERY good (and fair) job, and I felt he deserved credit for it.
Other than that, I have every intention of staying out of the matter.
