As far as many of us feel, yes, we have more than we need. But if one watches PPV I guess they will welcome any new ones.

I believe so, the mini festivus adds the other channels (apparently one is FSC)

    My streak will continue....

The last added HD channel that i watch was added on jan 21, 2009.

I havent watched any new HD channels that were added since that date.

On the + side i dont have to update my favorite custom guide. :D

Another Tweet that I saw today on my BlackBerry:
"In addition to adding FOX Soccer Channel HD, we’re working to add live matches in HD on Fox Soccer Plus."

I can't wait to see Premier League matches in HD. Woot!

    Altamonte...
I actually like the PPVs. Especially the 1080P movies. It saves me a bunch of money on Blu Rays I will likely only watch once. $6 vs. $20-30. Sure I miss out on the extras. I generally buy the cool SciFi/Fantasy flicks on BR, but that stuff like Hot Tub Time Machine I just do the PPV (and I am glad I didn't spend $25 for that movie). I do wish Inception was out already on BR, though. Love that movie. That will be a BR purchase.

No, they're not. Not all of them. (The stuff following the hyphens is just my comments.)

But thanks for posting those time-saving descriptions.

Yes they are. Those are the facts. I'm sorry if you don't agree, but those are the facts. Good luck proving otherwise...

BTW...I would appreciate it if you didn't manipulate my posts when quoting them. Either quote my exact words or don't bother.

Yep, I can see why we will never get EPIX or AMC, BBC.

You get alot more bang for your buck with Netflix. If you are serious at all about quality 1080p nothing beats the quality on Blu-Ray.

Actually the way you posted that with all the paragraphs as quotes makes it a pain in the butt to requote it all ... and really unneeded to paste the same full post as a quote. It just wastes space in the thread.

Would the shows referencing food be "food" shows if played on The Food Channel or The Cooking Channel? Or is every show somehow about travel?

Food Network has more and more travel shows these days. There's no question the boundaries between all of the Scripps networks have been blurred. Regardless, it's nothing worth arguing over.

Is it just me, or is it frustrating to see boring, monotonous, repetitive, ceaseless, dull, and otherwise useless discussions about Travel HD, an HD channel we already have in the HD anticipation thread?
